Last night Kim and I were invited to a nice young couples for dinner. We had a little drive, but we arrived right on time. The house smelled great with dinner cooking in the oven. The lasagna was served warm with garlic bread and a fresh salad. We had strawberry shortcake for dessert and everything tasted great.
The host cleaned up and we then played a fun game of charades (it had an actual name and game parts but I can’t remember the game name). But it was fun to be silly, laugh and use our imaginations.
All in all it was a great night out and we were blessed by the company we shared.
It is so nice to be with other adults and eat, play and enjoy just being together, and it’s even nicer when they are your own children. Thanks Justin and Melanie for a very relaxing evening.
